Jeanette Biedermann (born February 22, 1981), professionally known as Jeanette, is a German pop singer-songwriter, actress and television personality.
Her second album Delicious was released in 2001 and peaked number 16 on the German Album Charts. The album was certified with Gold. Featuring the hits How It’s Got To Be and No More Tears. In 2002 Jeanette released her third album Rock My Life (2002) and is her first Top Ten album in Germany and was certified with Gold. She has released four singles Rock My Life, We’ve Got Tonight, It’s Over Now and Right Now and charted in the Top Ten one behind the other. One year later she released her fourth album Break On Through (2003) The album is her most successful album in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The album charted in the Top Ten number 6 and ist the first album with Platinum.The first single of the album was Rockin’ On Heaven’s Floor.
Jeanette has played the main role of her new TV series Anna und die Liebe since August 2008. In 2009 she’s come back with a new album Undress to the Beat (2009) and is her sixth album in Germany. The first single is “Undress to the Beat”. She sold more than 10 million albums & singles in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in ten years.
